If it's one thing Adventure Parents is all about, it's the parents. Not the kids. They're spoiled enough, right? The Sealander amphibious camping trailer just slid into my inbox from a friend, and, the way I see it, it's far too small for a family, but just right for the blissful consenting couple.
It's barely more than a water-going cottage in which you can snuggle up on the bench seat while you float around your favorite mountain lake. If that sounds like your kind of date, wait until nightfall. The roof rolls back for quiet hours of stargazing. The interior is configurable on-the-fly in a few different ways, such as with a small eating table set in the middle, or entirely flat with a sleeping platform. The Sealander weighs just 850 lbs, and therefore can be towed with nearly any car on the road today. Plus, the small electric motor means tacit operation without that unwelcome scent of gasoline drifting in from the back.
But I think I know what you're thinking . . .
