I know all the usual responses to why many families - not all, just many - avoid camping based adventure trips.

"Can't stand bugs."
"Cold sucks."
"I hate it when my kids get so dirty."
And surely there's more.

But for just a few moments, watch The Mountain by Terje Sorgjerd.  Aside from it being a beautiful compilation of wilderness time lapses, it clearly shows the one big reason that trumps all the excuses. There's some amazingly cool shit stuff going on in the planet. Why would anyone want to miss it?
