When we go out for a hike, I'm often in the back. This gives me an indisputably fine view of my life.

This was in Water Holes Canyon near Page, Arizona.  These girls and I hiked through its narrows and sandy channels for almost an hour. Then, as you can imagine, Chloe shot her arms into the air and said to Brooke, "Will you carry me, Mama?"  Yeah.

Hike. Over. But she's such a sport for going as far as she did on her own.
