Am I a bad influence here?  It's just classic marshmallow roasting.  Chloe likes them.  When we come home and live our regular lives, I get to read her bedtime books too.  In several of those books we see a fireplace.  Like in the book "That's When I'm Happy" by Beth Shoshan and Jaqueline East, there's a page with a mother bear reading books to a baby bear on the couch in front of a lit fireplace.

I practice with Chloe, "What's that?" I'll ask.

And she'll go, "Camp-fy-wer."

And I'll go, "Good girl" then plant a kiss on her fuzzy head.

Tonight after work, I picked her up from her Gigi's (grandmother) Baptist church.  Chloe went to a little kid's class to play games, do some art and all that.  When I came to pick her up, the teacher was about to read the book, "Goodnight Moon" to the four children in the class who - for the moment - were sitting still and singing. She'd turned on some mellow music, got the kids swaying back and forth and hushing to prepare for story time. Then the teacher opened the book. On the first page we saw a drawing of a big living room with furniture, windows, and a fireplace.  Chloe saw that, jumped to her feet and killed the silence by bellowing, "CAMP-FY-WER!" and snatching the book out of the teacher's hand and giving it to me.  So proud.
